The best reason for a student to be a member of the North Carolina Museums Council is the annual conference. Here you have many opportunities to network with members of your field; pursue diverse professional development opportunities; and attend insightful workshops, panels, and discussions. The many museum professionals at the conference will be a valuable resource to you as you shape your career.
Even if you are not currently a member, you may apply for the Student Memorial Award to attend the conference for free. The award winner, and up to three additional scholarship winners, will receive a free one-year NCMC student membership.
