We have recently reviewed and updated our membership fees and benefits to keep up with rising costs and to remain in line with the dues of other small museum associations. This increase in membership fees will help NCMC to continue to provide scholarships, professional development, awards, advocacy, and support for our state's museums and museum professionals. If you have any question regarding our new membership tiers or benefits, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Membership in NCMC includes membership in one of four Regions: Mountains, Piedmont, Northeastern, or Southeastern. Each Region meets during the annual conference to discuss specific concerns and issues. Region members nominate and elect a representative to serve on NCMC’s board of directors and assist in planning council meetings.
The NCMC newsletter is created and posted quarterly on this web site. The newsletter includes news from museums across North Carolina, conference and workshop schedules, summaries of national and regional meetings, updates on state and national legislation, and notices of surplus museum supplies and sought-after objects. Individuals on our opt-in news e-mailing list are alerted as each newsletter is posted on this site.
