Join us for Museums Unwalled: Expanding Horizons, a transformative conference designed to reimagine the role of museums in the modern world. This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of museums as dynamic entities that actively engage with communities, foster education, drive cultural change, and extend their impact far beyond physical walls.
At this conference, we will explore the innovative ways museums are embracing their evolving roles, focusing on key areas such as community engagement, collections, interdisciplinary collaborations, accessibility, and inclusive interpretation. These sessions are curated to inspire museum professionals to rethink their institutions' potential and to discover new strategies for creating inclusive and impactful experiences.
Gain inspiration and practical insights through thought-provoking panels led by industry experts, hands-on workshops tackling challenges like relationship building, and ample networking opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals and collaborate on shared solutions.
This conference is ideal for museum professionals, educators, curators, designers, community organizers, and anyone invested in the future of cultural institutions. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the field, you’ll leave with valuable insights, tools, and inspiration to enhance your work.
Museums have the power to inspire, educate, and connect people in profound ways. By attending this conference, you will become part of a community committed to shaping the future of museums as vibrant spaces of innovation, inclusion, and cultural exchange. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore bold ideas, share your own experiences, and join the movement to expand the horizons of what museums can be.
